A vacancy has arisen for an enthusiastic and reliable Early Years Manager to join our team. Udny Station Preschool and Playgroup are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Manager to join our team 5 days a week (start and finish times to be discussed and confirmed). This will be a permanent post with a 6 month probationary period.

The Admissions period for session 2022-2023 will be open to apply on Monday 17th January and will run until Friday 28th January. We require all parents to apply for a place whether your child is a new start or returning to the setting. Our Christmas raffle was a very big success! We raised a whopping £758! Thanks you to everyone who contributed their time, to those people who generously donated prizes including local businesses and to you all for your ticket purchases! Without our fundraising our playgroup wouldn't continue so it really does make a big difference! Thank You!

We all had a brilliant trip to the Macduff Marine Aquarium🐠🐟 followed by a picnic lunch and a play at the park, as always the bus journey there and back was a highlight too! 🚎 🦀 🐠 🦐🐙

🐛🦋The children (and Harry our playgroup bear) have been learning all about the lifecycle of a butterfly. They have watched each day as the very tiny and very hungry caterpillars grow bigger and have begun to see signs that the next stage will soon take place🐛🦋 🐛🦋

The sun is out and so are we. The children spent the whole session outside this morning enjoying the warm weather with outdoor snack and story time in the sunshine too ☀️

This term we have been looking at science and technology. The children have been using the electricity circuit board, pipettes, test tubes, funnels and measuring jugs in the water tray, making paper aeroplanes, taking photos, recording messages and using touch screen for navigational games. They have also been encouraged to write their names on the list for turns on the computer and practising letter formation in the sand tray.
